“If we spend enough time dreaming, the dream eventually becomes reality. But not without action”
I cannot express in words the roller coaster of emotions that I went through in February 2022. After facing rejection after rejection, and not finding a single customer for my idea, I was ready to throw in the towel and start from scratch. But then fate intervened. I decided to take a break and clear my head, and that's when I got a call from my Uncle, Atul Kaka, who set up a meeting for me with the CEO of Molbio Diagnostics, N Sriram.
I was ecstatic and nervous at the same time. I had a proposal that I had cooked up in my room, and I was hoping to turn it into a reality. But Sriram Sir was a busy man, and I didn't know if my proposal would catch his attention. To my surprise, he loved it! He said it was exactly what they were looking for and even set up a meeting for me with his partner, Mr. Krishna Prasad, in Bangalore.
The meeting with KP Sir was even better. He shared my enthusiasm and asked me to work with his team to create a detailed spec and share a proposal for the same. We worked on it for over a month, juggling other projects on the side. But in March, everything changed.
I was busy preparing for my annual party, and I was at the wine store picking up some alcohol when I got a call from Atul Kaka and Sriram Sir. They had a challenge for me - design, source, execute, and deliver a Functional Mobile clinic in Delhi within 14 days! And to top it off, the Prime Minister himself would be inaugurating our product on World TB Day in March.
I was excited, nervous, and overwhelmed all at the same time. But I knew I had to rise to the challenge. And we did it! It was an incredible experience, and I cannot thank Atul Kaka, Sriram Sir, and KP Sir enough for giving me this opportunity. It just goes to show that when one door closes, another one opens. And when that door opens, you better be ready to step through it with all the passion and enthusiasm you have.
“Our Prime Minister will be inaugurating our 1st product on world TB Day in Delhi in (March)”
